RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR THE
RECREATION GROUNDS AND CLUB HOUSE
A) ACCESS
A-1 The facility is open Tuesday through Sunday, and Monday only when it falls on or is followed by a holiday
A-2 Hours Tuesday through Friday, 8 AM to 7:00 PM.; Saturday and Sunday, 8 AM to 7:30 P.M.
A-3 Unaccompanied children under 10 are not permitted on club property.
B) CREDENTIALS
B-1 Only those persons who hold credentials can enter the Club. A maximum of six credentials will be issued per lot, the owner of which will be wholly responsible for the improper use, abuse or physical damages to the Club and its facilities, as well as the character and proper conduct of the credential holders.
B-2 Access will only be permitted to those members whose quarterly fees to the association are current. Current is taken to mean that one may owe for the present quarter but not for any preceding quarters.
B-3 The credentials, which bear name and photograph, are valid for no less than one year and are not transferable.
B-4 Non-current status in payment of fees to the association can be cause for the confiscation of all credentials issued to the owner of the lot in question.
B-5 Attempting to enter the Club without the respective credentials or without covering the fees of the guests, or forcing entry without regard for the rules is grounds for a report to the Honor and Justice Committee and such persons will be subject to such sanctions as said Committee may decide.
C) GUESTS
C-1 Only those guests may enter who are personally accompanied by the member and pay the corresponding fees.
C-2 The user will be responsible that his guests conduct themselves properly and observe the provisions contained in the present rules and regulations.
C-3 In order that a member bring guests to the Club he must be current in the payment of his fees.
C-4 Access to restricted facilities and games can only be granted to a credential holder who requests it and only those guests accompanied by him.
D) GENERAL PROVISIONS
D-1 Users should maintain good judgernent in the use of the facilities, furniture and equipment and make moderate use of water. In case of damage, intentional or through neglect, the cost of restoration should be covered within the shortest possible time, this independent of any corresponding sanction that the Honor and Justice Committee might impose.
D-2 Users should turn over to the Club office any articles found within the facilities. Such articles not reclaimed by their owner within 30 days will be donated to a charitable institution. A log book will be maintained by the administration for this purpose.
D-3 Excessive use of alcoholic beverages will not be permitted, nor will the presence of member or guests who are intoxicated or under the influence of drugs.
D-4 Padlocks should be used on the rental lockers since the Club will not be responsible for lost or stolen belongings. The padlocks on lockers with more than two months' rent owing will be subject to removal by the management; the stored articles will be donated to charity after 90 days.
D-5 Users should maintain a courteous relationship with employees and officials and report any discourtesy on their part to the administration.
D-6 One should display his member's credential or guest ticket each time he enters the Club, or when requested by an official or employee.
D-7 Users can submit their written complaints in the suggestion box or by letter to the administration. Also welcome are suggestions for the improvement of service, the facilities or whatever matter related to the efficient and proper operation of the Club.
E) THE CLUB HOUSE
E-1 Parking is permitted only during the days and hours of normal Club operation. Posted traffic and parking rules must be observed. The Club in not responsible for vehicle damage or theft at its facilities.
E-2 Parties or private events will not be permitted in the clubhouse other than during normal days and hours of operation, nor without the payment of the established fee by the attendees.
E-3 The property holder is responsible for any damages to the parabolic antenna, its receiver, billiard and ping pong tables as well as any other equipment or apparatus. This will result in a charge to his account for the total amount of the damages and his access to the Club will be restricted until the full amount of the charges is satisfied.
E-4 Attendees at the clubhouse must always dress properly, maintain the modesty and respect due a locale devoted to family gatherings and amusement, watch their manners and language and not fail to deposit trash in the proper receptacles.
E-5 The use of sound equipment at a volume that is irritating to others is prohibited,
E-6 Since the nature of the clubhouse and the facilities is oriented toward family use, loud, vulgar or otherwise offensive language is prohibited. Modesty and respect for others is to be maintained.
E-7 Television entertainment is controlled by the club administration. A member's request for a programming change will be granted if there is a consensus among those present. No person other than from the administration may change the established controls.
E-8 The roasting spits are for the use of all and users must understand that they are to be shared and left in clean condition.
F) SWIMMING POOLS
F-1 In the interest of hygiene one should bathe before entering the pools. Swim suits are required.
F-2 It is strictly prohibited to introduce chairs. benches or other large or solid objects in the pools which may interfere with the enjoyment of other members. This also applies to articles made of glass.
F-3 Consumption of food in pool areas is prohibited.
F-4 Since there is no lifeguard service, use of the pools is prohibited to minors unaccompanied by parents or other responsible person.
G) SPORT FACILITIES
G-1 League or interclub competitions are not permitted unless the guests' fees are covered. These are subject without exception to the previous approval of the Board of Directors.
G-2 The use of the tennis courts, pool, billiard and ping pong tables is scheduled by the management from lists of players which it oversees.
G-3 Traditional apparel is required for the use of the tennis courts without which such use will be denied.
H) PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES WITHIN THE CLUB HOUSE
H-1 To transfer a credential to another party.
H-2 Sale of tickets, subscriptions, or objects/articles, as well as display of ads/notices without the expressed authorization of the Board of Directors.
H-3 Enter the TV or game areas, reception of offices in swim suit or without shoes or shirt.
H-4 Play tennis without professional shoes and attire.
H-5 Climb on the building roofs or enter restricted areas such as storerooms, boiler or pump rooms, kitchens, etc.
H-6 Walk on the grass, cut flowers or fruit or do damage to trees or other green areas.
H-7 Toss garbage or leave it in common areas such as on tables, under sun umbrellas, on the courts, etc.
H-8 Use of bicycles, skates (except in skating areas), wagons, tricycles, etc. Wheel chairs for the invalid as well as baby carriages and walkers are exempted from this rule.
H-9 Introduce pets or other animals into the Club.
H-10 Quarrels or immoral behaviour of whatever nature.
H-11 Play at games of chance, bet with cash or check.
H-12 Enter the Club in a state of drunkenness or drink to excess.
H-13 Climb on tables, chairs, bathroom furniture, toilets or washbasins.
H-14 Relieve physiological needs in other than the proper locations.
H-15 Carry firearms or knives
H-16 Harass or abuse sexually.
H-17 Proselytize, religious or politically.
H-18 Introduce, sell or consume narcotic drugs.
H-19 Move terrace or pool furniture to other areas.
H-20 Theft of Club property or that of third parties.
I) HONOR AND JUSTICE COMMISSION
I-1 The Honor and Justice Commission will try all cases in which these rules and regulations are violated and will determine the appropriate sanctions.
I-2 The sanctions determined by the Commission are not subject to appeal and range, depending upon the gravity of the offence, from written warning to temporary suspension to expulsion from the Club without the possibility of rejoining.
I-3 In all cases where there has been a violation of the present rules and regulations it is the responsibility of the administration to act on the decision of the Honor and Justice Commission and impose the sanctions on the violator,
I-4 The sanctions that apply to the prohibited activities of the preceding section include but are not limited to:
Warning
One week suspension
One month suspension
Expulsion from the club
J) ADDITIONAL PROVISIONS
J-1 The Club will not be responsible for theft or accidents sustained by users within its facilities.
J-2 The present Rules and Regulations are to be adhered to by all active members, guests and visitors to the Club. Ignorance of the stated provisions does not exempt the user from his responsibility for failing to comply with or violating same.
J-3 Owners must maintain their property and clean the common areas around the property, which are green with plants and trees. The association will work with owners to place trees in public green spaces.
J-4 Twice a year, during the months of June and November, all properties must be cleaned of weeds and trash, otherwise the association will fine the owner of the property by the amount of 2 minimum wages per day for each day until the property is cleaned, or otherwise the property may be cleaned by the club and the cost will be charged to the property owner as debts or fines.
J-5 No signs are permitted in public areas, and only signs that have been approved by the municipality of Jocotepec can be put on private property.
J-6 The municipality of Jocotepec authorizes Fracc. Raquet Club, A.C. , San Juan Cosalá to remove any sign that has not been approved by the municipality, or put on private property without prior authorization by the municipality.
J-7 Any cutting or adjustment of any tree must be approved both by the municipality of Jocotepec and the Board of the Fracc. Raquet Club, A.C. For every tree that is cut, the person who performed the cutting is obliged to plant and maintain ten trees where the association or the committee indicates
J-8 Owners will not interfere with the natural causes of rainwater through the property, and will not block the natural streams or water courses.
J-9 Littering in any part of the Fracc. Raquet Club, A.C. is prohibited.
J-10 No vehicle shall remain parked on the streets of the division for more than eight (8) days, and trucks or trailers may not remain parked for more than 48 hours.
J-11 Minors may not use vehicles within the fraccionamiento.
J-12 The speed limit within the fraccionamiento is 30 km / hr (20 mph)
J-13 Any type of fire within any property must be supervised at all times and property owners shall take the necessary security measures to prevent the fire from spreading.
J-14 Excessive noise is not allowed. Owners should always ensure that noise emanating from their property does not offend and disturb disturbing the neighbors. Quiet hours are from 11 pm to 7 am
J-15 All fines imposed under the violation of the rules and regulations of this association shall be paid immediately, and if not paid promptly, the amounts will be added to regular fees with interest charges for late payment.
